That's not how that works. It's the last 3 teams in a year get kicked out to the AHL, and the top 3 in the AHL move up to the NHL. Considering ahl teams are linked to NHL teams, this cant work.

That's not how that works. It's the last 3 teams in a year get kicked out to the AHL, and the top 3 in the AHL move up to the NHL. Considering ahl teams are linked to NHL teams, this cant work.

I have seen them in person and can safely say it doesn't work, just makes your pads look stupid.
